Who Do You Listen To?

More than perhaps anything else, who we listen to will determine the trajectory of our ministry. If we listen to godly, wise, smart people who have our best interest and that of the Kingdom at heart, it will leaven our lives and ministries. If we listen to the wrong people, we can expect a world of trouble. "Is best to just hear the negative voices only, but listen to positive voices " Do you listen to your fear or strength? Do you listen to your history or your future? WHAT DO YOU LISTEN TO? Do you listen to your friends or your so called friends? Do you listen to your parents or your God? WHO DO YOU LISTEN TO? Do you listen to your anger or your patience? Do you listen ideas or complains? WHAT DO YOU LISTEN TO? Do you listen to the Man of God or Word of God? Do you listen to Doctors report or God's word on Divine Healing? WHO DO YOU LISTEN TO? DO you listen to your body or the spirit? Do you listen to your Beauty/handsome or your charact

It Just Has To Exist

"We're all so good at recognizing what's shitty about something (and how we fix it) (criticism). We are all so bad at making something, so just make something bad and then criticize it until its good." It's a strange side of human intelligence. Computers, most animals and even aliens in movies can see someone do something and copy it quite well. But for humans, it's quite hard seeing a kickflip on a skateboard and learning from that and doing it first try. But what humans do have is a great capacity for pattern identification ie criticism and thus we spot mistakes in everything so well and that is how quality content/skills are grown. Why am I telling you of this? Because a major reason for procrastination for me and so many others is the concern of writing a crap essay or preforming bad at an exam or failing to run a certain distance. You must accept that you will produce shit at first, because if you believe your first try should be good, you will be shiv

How Not To Settle For Average

Everyone is valuable in their own way and has their own perks to them. Then, you have society which has their own structure to them and people follow them on a daily basis. How you need to live, what you need to wear, how and what to eat, etc. You want to be independent and carefree, but the world is a different animal and they are ruthless in putting their fist down to anybody who goes against them. We as humans have out own interests and beliefs that we should go after. If you really want to be a NFL player but it's not considered ''a real job'', go after it anyways because you never know what might happen if you didn't take the risk. If you want to play soccer professionally but it's not considered also ''a real job'' , do it if you're passionate about it and it makes you happy. I don't know why playing sports professionally like Baseball, Soccer, Basketball, Hockey ,Tennis aren't considered ''real jobs''. th

Love Has No Limits

The weather was cold and the skies were gray, I drove down a long narrow road with Boris, my old high school buddy. He lived alone in a wooded area with no neighbors within close distance. I could not understand why he lived in a secluded area when he was an outgoing person and loved being with people all the time. He was the star of the group and treated everybody with kindness, no conditions added. After graduation I went into the Navy and became successful, I lost touch with my buddy. Ten years later I was standing in the line at the grocery store and saw a man that resembled Boris. I did not think the man that I saw was him because he was blind in one eye and had deep scars on his face. I kept looking at him and he said “what are you staring at”. I politely said “sir I’m very sorry but may I ask “is your name Boris”? He replied by saying “why, who wants to know”? After checking out I waited for him outside the store and said “my name is Lloyd, you and I used to best buds from hi

Parenting Done Right

I just witnessed a boy, maybe about 6 or 7, accidentally spill a Slushee everywhere in Target. I didn't get a photo but I'm including one of my son and I. I'm talking blue and red goop all over the floor, the table, everywhere. The boy looked up at who I assume was his father, and immediately apologized. Instead of getting angry, his father just said 'Hey, it happens. Let's go get napkins and I can show you how to clean it up.' Then they calmly went to get napkins and then he helped him clean the entire mess. Then, as they were throwing the napkins away, the father said to his son, 'You're going to be a human being for a long time, and you have such a smart brain that it's important you learn how to be more aware of what you're doing. So next time just be sure to pay more attention to your surroundings so accidents like this don't happen. Accidents like these can be prevented, but it's still okay if they happen. As long as you take respo

2 Years Of Saying Yes To Life

For the last two years, we have been getting out of our comfort zones and encouraging others to do the same. What has started out as a summer project has blossomed into a full time job with a growing YouTube channel and a show on Snapchat. We have met the Prime Minister of Canada, thrown a massive party $0, modeled at one of the biggest men's fashion shows in the US, and kidnapped strangers to give them the best days of their lives, all because we opened ourselves up to new experiences. For anybody who still doubts themselves, this is your call to action.

Learning Is A Good Thing

Some of the best lessons I’ve learned were when I was on the ground looking up. Something put me on my butt, and it was up to me as to what to do with the event. I could stay on the ground and flounder in the emotion that put me there, or I could stand up, brush myself off, assess the situation, and learn from it. Here are a few of my favorite lessons. 1. There are things that happen in my life that I just cannot fix. Learning to accept them leads to better things in the future. 2. Kindness is a mindset that changes the world. 3. Inspiration is all around me, if I just pay attention. 4. Money does not make the world go round. 5. You can’t save everyone. Some do not want to be saved. 6. I am responsible for my actions. 7. Listening is an acquired skill. 8. Bad things happen. That’s just part of life. 9. I learn more from listening than I do talking. 10. Seldom if ever has shooting my mouth off before thinking resulted in a positive outcome. 11. Intuition is one of

Life Is Like A Journey On A Train

Life is like a journey on a train with its stations, with changes of routes and with accidents! At birth we boarded the train and met our parents, and we believe they will always travel on our side. However, at some station our parents will step down from the train, leaving us on this journey alone. As time goes by, other people will board the train; and they will be significant i.e. our siblings, friends, children, and even the love of our life. Many will step down and leave a permanent vacuum. Others will go so unnoticed that we don’t realize that they vacated their seats! This train ride will be full of joy, sorrow, fantasy, expectations, hellos, goodbyes, and farewells. Success consists of having a good relationship with all the passengers…requiring that we give the best of ourselves. The mystery to everyone is: We do not know at which station we ourselves will step down. So, we must live in the best way – Love, forgive, and offer the best of who we are. It is important to do th

Old Man in the Park..!! (Must Read)

Once a businessman got caught in debt real deep and he was not able to think of any way out to sort out that debt. So one day he went out and sat in the park to think if he could do anything to save his company from bankruptcy. While he was sitting in park, an old man came to him and said to him, “I can see that something is troubling you..” Businessman was sad and depressed so he told that old man everything about his problem while old man listened to him patiently. Old man smiled and replied, “I believe i can help you..” Old man put his hand into his pocket and took out a cheque book and asked that businessman his name then giving that cheque to businessman, old man said, “Take this money.
