TWO SIDED HELP
My friend Kelly is a drug addict who has a good job as a pharmacist in a hospital despite her family not supporting her and escaping a violent boyfriend, but the addiction she never felt was a problem until she was suspended and charged for theft of narcotics. She called me suicidal, her current boyfriend furious not being aware of any addiction at all had locked her out. So I did what I had to and took her in, she had nothing cause her boyfriend wouldn't let her in so i got her what she needed. I got her a lawyer and took care of ger until work got her into treatment and the courts were ssttled. We are best of friends and out of this, I learned too. You see I have Borderline Personality Disorder and don't know how to have a good friend and keep them. She has been patient, understanding and taught me boundaries and trust and confidence. We helped each other at a time most critical in our lives because the day she called me, I was preparing my suicide.
