MUSIC IS MY PASSION - T-PURGE

Music is not about the money or fame you get alone but its also about the love and passion one as for it.Meet the young, talented, vibrant singer........

Ojeleye, Oluwatobi Samuel aka T-Purge is the only son of his parent, he is the third with three sisters. He attended St. Bernadette Nursery and Primary School, Ijemo Titun High School, Sacred Heart Catholic College, African Church Grammar School And Roseborn International Secondary School, all In Abeokuta , Ogun State. He is a graduate of History and International Relations (combined Honors) from the Obafemi Awolowo University , Ile-Ife.

All his Life he never had a deep love for any craft because as a young boy all his focus was to achieve by sight and things said to him like been a Doctor , a Mechanical Engineer and a Pilot. He loved to be a pilot but when he grew older and the reality of life began to tell on him, becoming a Pilot faded away on its own accord.

His Love and passion for Music all started in his Senior Secondary School at the African Church Grammar School, Ita-Iyalode where he started to compose Rap lyrics and rehearse dance steps with three other friends. They were notable to perform in Valedictory services and represented the school at Literary and debating day. Toboos as he was fondly called back then by friends and school mates began to compose his own songs with rhythm. He was so zealous at doing Music that he goes to the studio after school and on weekends though he has no money to pay for studio sessions , his intention was to be around where Music was made, he was mastering his craft.

In 2008, he was privileged to record an inspirational song titled “Respect To The Almighty” dedicated to God, this gave him an opportunity to attend few shows.

He recorded another rap single in the 2010 titled “How Could You”. This rap song is a powerful single intended to penetrate the mind of his audience by talking about the ills in the society and the selfishness and deceits of the politicians whose intensions were empty Campaign promises as the election approaches. The song “How Could You” received massive airplay in private owned radio station in Abeokuta.

I’m 2010, he gained admission into Obafemi Awolowo University to study Estate Management. After spending two years, he lost interest in the course and preferred to study a more Art related course. This prompted him to change his course to the department of History in 2013 to study History and International relations.

In 2017, he released a pop single with an infuse of trap, titled “Love My Soul”. This Music is a different type of sound that appeals more to the elites while the non elites can also vibe to the rhythm.

He released Omo Daada in Dec. 2017, and went ahead to shoot the Video to this powerful single on Jan 2018. The Video was released on his YouTube channel in February 2018 and never hesitated to follow it up with another banger “Milegbe(Dance)” in the month of March same year. The popular slogan or signature on his tracks is “Feel The Rhythm”

He concluded his B.A pursuit at OAU in the year 2017 as a graduate of History and International Relations.

When asked what inspires him to do Music?
He said his Love for the craft and also what goes around in his environment at a particular moment. In his words; “I want my Audience to experience Love and a supreme touch in their soul as they listen to my Music. I want them to be positively inspired at the sound of my voice. I want to sing songs that would last ages and influence generations for good”.

The sky is his starting point!..
Watch out for him 😎😎😎😎
