Seeking Truth

When I was in my late teens, I was seeking the Truth. The Truth with a big, capital T. While believing or attempting to arrive at the big Truth, is a foolish futile thing, attempting to get a bit closer to it, even without any hopes of uncovering it completely tends to put us on an amazing journey ! If we really, in the deepest of our heart and soul, search for Truth, we quite soon come to an awareness that the Truth is enormously big. The complexity of the physical world is enormous, The complexity of the spiritual world is enormously enormous. As a human we tend to cling to some of our insights some of the things we accepted as truth. We make it our final truth and the wonderful journey of seeking ends; we tend to become arrogant in our beliefs, thinking we are right and all others are wrong. A small glimpse of the Truth with capital T will make anyone understand that we cannot understand that Truth. This makes us  in a way all wrong in our perception of it. S...

A SIMPLE WISH

From a young age, my parents have taught me the importance of giving generously to the less fortunate. Out of habit, whenever there is something I can spare, I give it to someone on the streets. Last week, as I left the house to run a few errands, I carried with me some old clothes, a handbag and some food to hand over to someone needy. As the car halted at a traffic signal, I saw a girl of five or six asking for money. I signaled her to come to me and quickly collected all the stuff I had. As I started handing them over, she seemed overwhelmed. She looked up at me with a sweet smile on her face and asked what was in the bag. I told her there were some clothes and food for her. Once again she looked up at me and asked, “Can you give me some water?” It was then that I noticed her parched lips. It seemed she had not had a drop of water all day. I took out my flask of water that I always carry with me and helped her to drink from it. She finished it quickly and gave me a heartwarm...

The Way God Helps

There was a small village by the river. Everyone lived happily and offered regular prayers at the village temple (Church). Once during the monsoon season, it rained heavily. The river started overflowing and flood entered the village. Everyone started to evacuate their homes and set out to go to the safe place. One man ran to the temple (Church). He quickly went to the priest’s room and told him, “The flood water has entered into our homes and it is rising quickly. And water has also started to enter the temple. We must leave the village as in no time it will sink under the water! Everyone has set out to go to the safer place and you must come along”. The priest told the man, “I am not an atheist like you all and I have a full faith in God. I trust the God that he will come to save me. I will not leave the temple, You may go!” So, the man left. Soon, the water level started to rise and reached the waist height. The priest climbed on the desk. After a few minutes, a man with the bo...

7 SIGNS HE DOESN’T HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE YOUR HUSBAND

YOU DON’T SHARE THE SAME BELIEFS AND VALUES When your beliefs and values don’t align, what you’ll likely get is disagreement. And if you manage to steer that relationship clear of it before the children come, when they do eventually come, what happens? Whose values will be instilled? Whose religion will be followed? These things seem minor in the start, but when it gets real and children are involved, it’s a different type of case. HE DOESN’T SUPPORT YOUR NEEDS It’s absurd to think you’re in a relationship, and feel completely alone at the same time. It’s funny that you have a partner, yet he can’t take care of your needs in even the smallest way. No support whatsoever? Something is off! YOU CAN’T TALK ABOUT SOMETHING SERIOUS WITH HIM If he avoids serious conversations then surely why are you even together? He clearly doesn’t take you seriously and that is not someone that you can confide in. HE’S A CHEATER Marrying a cheating man is like signing your own death certifica...

FRIENDS OR FOE? Episode 3

……Episode 3 I arrived at the party a bit late, where i was received with a warm hug and embrace by Temi, who was indeed surprised that I honoured her occasion. We both had a gist for a little while before settling and joining in the party groove. Temi suggested we also hit the dance floor, but i felt a bit shy and denied her request, but before i knew it,she was already taken away by one of her numerous boyfriends. I quickly located a quiet place where i sat down, my best way of catching fun is sitting and watching. From the position where i sat down, i observed the party very well, and realised that it was a well to do party, with the big boys of the university all trooping in, looking for girls to either toast or just have a one night stand with. Some boys where at one corner smoking all manners of hemp while others where busy vomiting their stomach out,due to too much of alcohol drinking. Other useless girls were found dancing like what i will best describe as a devil’s dance, s...

8 Ways to punish girls who come on a date with friends

Some ladies have a very bad habit of showing up on a date with friends, either as a handbag, a battalion, or the entire squad. Some say they do it because they don’t like walking alone, others claim to do it for security, because life is hard these days. Even though you can just be the perfect gentleman and take care of your date and her friends, you can also set up a defense mechanism in place to teach these ladies a lesson they probably will never forget 1. Take up her order and ignore her friend(s). Act like you don’t know them and you don’t care. This is just what you should do in the situation; the easiest thing you can do. Just be like, “You didn’t tell me you were coming with your friends. I won’t be responsible for them. Are we going to continue with our date or move it for another day?” That way, she’d know shit just got real. If she however thinks her friends must stay, ask her to share her food with her wonderful friends. It’s not wickedness, you are just sticking to...
